Compassionate Ministries...

Compassion as a Lifestyle is the goal of Compassionate Ministries in the CIS. We try to show the love of Jesus Christ every day by helping the needy in our communities. Compassionate Ministries is registered in several countries of the former Soviet Union as a Christian Humanitarian Organization. In some countries it is known as "NAZKOM" and in others as "Fond Nazaryanin." What do we do? Nazarene Compassionate Ministries in the CIS

Feeds Over 1000 people monthly.
Provides needed medicines and medical supplies, including eyeglasses.
Serves over 1500 patients a year with medical Work and Witness teams.
Teaches English to over 150 students a month.
Ministers to latch-key children.
Ministers to orphan children.
Teaches Computer skills for those seeking work.
Trains Nazarene Churches to live "Compassion as a Lifestyle."
Provides summer camps for over 500 children.

How can you become involved?

ACM 1575	CIS Children	help the latch-key, and street children of Russia. $20 buys school supplies and a pair of shoes.
ACM 1576	CIS Elderly	Retired elderly receive $50 a month in income. Help them with medicines and toiletries.
ACM 1577	CIS Medical Program	Help purchase glasses, medicines, wheelchairs, crutches and transportation expenses for medical teams.
ACM 1248	CIS Orphanages	help children in orphanages located near churches. $30 will buy a pair of shoes for the winter.
ACM 1228	Feeding Program	help feed needy individuals each month. $10 provides a bag of food.
ACM 1578	Sewing Project	people with sewing skills need help starting up businesses. $200 will buy a sewing machine.
ACM 1579	Computer Project	two ministry centers need to set up computer labs. $800 buys a computer.
ACM 1580	Housing Project	many families have no hope for housing. This project in St. Petersburg will help provide housing utilizing a 'loan' type of program.
ACM 1581	Peanut Butter Project	Small business opportunity utilizing a peanut grinder.
