the Nazarene with centers of Christian education and compassionate
ministries at strategic locations in each country of the CIS and

FACULTY DEVELOPMENT SCHOLARSHIPSThe goal of the program is that all courses will be taught by people from the CIS Field. For this to happen we must invest in the development of faculty. A number of students are currently enrolled in Master’s programs and will soon have students in Doctoral programs. $3,000 a year would sponsor a national pastor for higher education. CIS EDUCATION FUNDWe cannot wait until the entire endowment is raised! We have pastors that need to be trained today. It costs $30 to send a Pastor to a local class or $400 for the summer intensives or $1,600 for a Pastor to complete all courses for ordination. You can help a pastor go to class this year! CIS ENDOWMENT FUNDThe exciting growth of the Church of the Nazarene behind the former Iron Curtain cannot be sustained with current funding. For the church to continue to grow, we must continue to train Pastors to do the work. All Nazarene institutions in North America have endowment funds that allow them to continue to operate. It will be many years before student tuition will support the entire training program. We are raising an initial endowment for the CIS Educational Fund of $1,000,000 that will support the educational program for years to come. Donations should be marked: APT 1056 CIS Scholar DAF |
