Prayer and Praise

Dear Prayer Partners,

We feel so blessed to have you partnering in prayer with those of us serving
on the Field. The Lord has answered prayers and we certainly feel his
strength and comfort. We do have some prayers and praises to share with you
today.

1) Please continue to pray for Max from Moscow. The deadline for the
extortionists is on Sunday.

2) Please continue to pray for the building permission in Viasma. The
meeting with the Mayor is on February 29.

3) Please pray for the Norris family. This has been a difficult year for
them in Volgograd and for their children. They will be spending some time in
Fort Wayne, Indiana as they work on plans for this summer and fall. Please
keep them in your prayers.

4) Please pray for safe travels. Chuck and Carla Sunberg will be flying to
Central Asia this next week and will return to Moscow on March 6. Travel
into this part of the world can be interesting! Also, the Wrights will be
travelling this next week. They will need to leave Ukraine and go to London
to renew their visas. Please pray that this entire process goes smoothly.

Praises:

We just received this note from Michael Park this week...

Praise the Lord! Last Sunday (Feb. 13) we had the first worship service in
Myasokombinat Church of the Nazarene finally. This is the second church in
Astana. We tried to start the church there many times before, but we couldn't
find a place to gather the people and have a service. Now, one of the ladies
that was attending the prayer cell in Maysokombinat has agreed to provide her
house as a meeting place. There were about 15 people there for the first
worship service. Elizabeta Aleksandrovna is preaching there every Sunday.

Last Sunday (Feb. 13) seven people accepted the Lord in the worship services
in Viasma!

Last weekend we began new sessions of Theological classes in Pitimorsk and
Viasma, Russia. At each location, more than 50 people showed up to attend
the class. Praise the Lord!
