Praise the Lord!

Greetings to our Friends and Prayer Partners,

Christos Voskres!  (Christ is Risen)  Yesterday, here on the CIS Field, we 
celebrated Easter.  We have heard reports from churches all over the Field 
that they had a great day of worship and celebration!  Some were so full they 
had standing room only.  We praise the Lord!

This week our young people from across the Field will begin traveling to 
Volgograd for our first ever CIS Field Youth Conference.  Please be in prayer 
for them as they travel.  The young people from Kazakstan have to travel 
nearly 3 days, one direction.  Many others will travel for two days to get to 
Volgograd.  We are excited about this meeting.  Please be in prayer that the 
Holy Spirit would really move upon the services.  The theme of the Youth 
Conference is "Personal Holiness in the 21st Century"  I Peter 1:15-16.  The 
conference itself will be May 5-7.  

Viazma update...After finally securing all permission the foundation of the 
new building will be laid in just a few days.  This is very exciting and we 
praise the Lord for His answers to prayer.

MNU Jazz Band.  The Jazz Band from Mid-America Nazarene University will be 
coming to Russia on May 13.  Please be in prayer for them as they play in 
many different venues.  We pray that the Lord will use this as a significant 
outreach to reach people who would never come to church.  They will be on the 
Field until June 1 and will be in St. Petersburg, Moscow, Viazma, Vaskino, 
Volgograd and Pitimorsk.  

Thank you so much for partnering with us in prayer.  We believe that God is 
moving and building His kingdom in this part of the world!
