Prayer Requests

Dear Prayer Partners,

We appreciate so much your prayers and support for the work in the former 
Soviet Union. We have a number of prayer requests to share with you today.  

Earlier today we received the following e-mail from Kyiv.  This is regarding 
Luba Borisovna...whom some of you would know as Sveta Kleschar's sister. 

This is Natasha from Kiev. I really need your help!!! 

Today I brought my mother (her name is Luba) to hospital. She will have an 
operation very soon. I would like to ask you to pray for her. We need it very 
much! Tell your churches and friends to pray because He is the only One who 
can help her. 

I really believe that He loves my mother and will do the best for her. I also 
do believe in prayer! And I know that God will hear. 

We have been praying for Luba.  She is the one we reported had a breast 
tumor.  She has just completed radiation and the size of the tumor is greatly 
reduced.  Now, she is to have surgery and we don't know what the result will 
be.  Thanks for praying for this need.



Petya?s baby.  Thank you too, for praying for Petya's baby.  Petya is the 
Pastor from Berdyansk.  The baby was born she her name is Veronica ? she 
weighed 2.2 kg and had a hole about 2.5 inches in diameter and her entire 
digestive tract was outside of her body when she was born.  She had surgery 
and all was put back inside the hole and the layers were sewn back together 
and repaired and she was in the hospital for 3.5 weeks.  She is a strong and 
healthy girl and has gone back home to Berdyansk.  We believe that God really 
answered your prayers.

Olya, the young lady who fell has been on bedrest, but is now up and about 
and is recovering well.

Andrei Lurin, the Pastor in Mariupole, Ukraine is having heart trouble, 
please pray for him.

We have a very special unspoken request from Ukraine, and we are asking for 
those who are able, to join us in a time of prayer and fasting on Mondays for 
this request.

We are praying for the summer teams that will be coming.  All areas are 
currently preparing the way for the summer teams to come.  Please pray that 
these details will be worked out.

Please pray for the Jesus Film Teams in Kazakstan, South Russia and Ukraine.  
There are times when they meet very serious opposition to their efforts and 
they really need our prayers.

Please pray for Jon and Kathy Mowry.  Kathy's mother is seriously ill and it 
is difficult for Kathy to help with details of her mother's care from such a 
long distance.
