Monday Prayers

Thanks so much to all of you who continue to pray for the needs in the CIS.

This morning Lubov Borisnovna (I wrote about her last week) will be having
surgery. The family feels that they have not received good news this last
week, that the cancer is growing and spreading. Please be in prayer for her
surgery today and the treatment in the days ahead. Please also pray
specifically for the family. They seem to be having a harder time with all
of this than Luba. She has testified to the peace of God in her heart.

Please pray for our first Work and Witness team of the season. A team from
Ellendale, North Dakota will be arriving in Moscow on Friday. They will be
working on the Youth Center just outside of Moscow. These brave souls are
coming while it is still cold (-1F this morning) because they said it will
probably remind them of home! The forecast for the week is snow every day.
They will be having a special outreach with young people from an Orphanage
near the Youth Center. We are praying that the Light of Jesus can shine on
these young people.

Please pray for Chuck Sunberg as he travels back from Kazakstan this week and
then on to Ukraine. The Ukrainian District Assembly will be held on
Wednesday, March 6. Please be in prayer for this assembly and for all those
who will travel to Kyiv to be there.

Please pray for Linda Russell this week as well. She is traveling to
Volgograd where she will be helping the staff there.

This is the season of District Assemblies, which means lots of meetings, but
it is also a special time to look to the future. We praise God for what He
has done for us this past year but we are excited about what He will continue
to do in the days and months ahead.

Other Assemblies are...

Russia South District, March 13
Russia North District, March 17

Thanks so much for praying!
