Further Updates

Dear Prayer partners,

Greetings from I-35 somewhere in Kansas...or near the Oklahoma border. Chuck
and I are on the road all summer doing deputation services in the US. In the
meantime, the work continues in the CIS. We certainly appreciate all of your
prayers. We wanted to update you on a few things:

1. The Lord answered prayer and Davide finally did arrive at the General
Assembly. He is the one with all the major passport and visa problems. We
are grateful that in the end, everything turned out well.

2. We have not heard a new update on the sitaution in Ukraine regarding the
camp. Please continue to pray for this need.

3. This week there is a course for Pastors being held at the Youth Center
near Moscow. Please pray for those present and for Roger Hahn, the professor
that God's blessing would be upon this time. Also pray that there would be
no glitches because we do seem to have someone on our street that calls the
police every time we have a group there. It is just rather unpleasant to hav
e the police arrive to search everyone's documents.

4. We are working on the registration of the Youth Center facility. This is
a major job and there are many obstacles. Please pray especially for Tamara
as she works on this project. She's already been at it for over 2 months and
the work continues.

5. Please pray that we might be able to resolve problems with obtaining
letters of invitation for visitors and groups. The government has been
cracking down and the office that issues the letters has been very hard on
our Moscow staff about these invitations. We are looking for other avenues
of obtaining invitations. Please pray that the Lord opens the right door.

6. Sherri Pinson and her family continue to need our prayers. Sherri works
in the US as a coordinator for the CIS partnership, and is also an editor for
"Holiness Today." If you were at General Assembly and came by the CIS and
Eurasia Partnerships Booth you will have seen the beautiful domes -- a result
of her handiwork. She also edits all the CIS newsletters. Sherri and Fred's
13 year-old daughter, Rachel, has been diagnosed with cancer. She went
through surgery last week and is receiving chemotherapy at this time. We
will continue to send you updates on Rachel's condition.

Thanks so much for all your prayer and support.

Blessings,

Chuck and Carla Sunberg
