CIS Prayer: Visa Needs

Dear Prayer Partners,

This week may be crucial in regard to Russian visas.   Please be in prayer this week as Tamara and Olga will be visiting with the officials at the visa office in regard to visas for the Sunberg family.   Changes in visa rules have made it very difficult to get long-term visas into Russia.   In the past we have had 1-year multiple-entry visas.   Just last month Linda Russell was only approved for a 3-month, double entry visa.   This type of visa will make it quite difficult for us to have the Field Office in Moscow, as it limits our ability to travel to other areas of the Field.   Please pray that we would be able to get one-year multiple-entry visas for Russia.

This situation has already had an effect on Cinda Kammerman who has had to go out of Russia twice this year to get new visas.   When the visas expire for the Mowry family, they will also have to go through this process.   

We really appreciate your prayers and will let you know the results of their meeting with OVIR.
