CIS Prayer: Another day, another visa update

Dear Prayer partners,

So many of you have written that you have been praying for our visas.  Olga went early this morning to check on whether the Big Boss would come into work today, or not.  He won't be back to work until the 13th.  We are almost running out of time because it takes 21 days to process the invitations.  Now, please pray for the 13th -- when Tamara and Olga will try to meet with the Big Boss.  If this doesn't work, we do have another plan in our back pockets but we've been trying to get this all done in the proper manner.

God is answering your prayers because we have continued to feel encouraged throughout this entire process.  We have felt the Lord's presence in a beautiful way.  We know that's because you are praying!

Last night Chuck was stopped by the police (which is common) and was sent for a breathalyzer check.  He told them he never drinks.  They looked at him like he was nuts.  Finally the doctor just made him stick out his tongue and sent him on his way.

As I'm writing this there are two Max's sitting at our kitchen table with us.  One Max is from Ulyanovsk where they have been working so hard to get all the legal permits for building the church there.  The Lord is answering prayer and we are encouraged.  He is on his way to Ecuador for the Youth Conference there.  Please pray because we will have 3 people going to Ecuador.  Davide Cantarella is leading our group.

The second Max is often known as Mad Max, the Moscow 1st Church pianist.  He's home from EuNC for the Christmas holidays.  He's just spent the last 5 days at a camp for orphaned children.  He has an incredible heart for children.  It's his dream to operate a large Christian camp in Russia.

Thanks for your prayers.  God is good!
