CIS Prayer: Metro bombing

Dear Prayer Partners,

As you get up this morning you will be hearing about the bombing of a subway train in Moscow.   It happened here during rush hour.   We are all okay.   It happened on the green line, which is one line over from where we live and we rarely use that line.   However, many of the people from Moscow First live over off the green line.   Some of you know Misha that works with our Work and Witness teams.   We know that his mother left home around 8:30 this morning, heading north on the green line.   The explosion occurred 8:40 coming out of a station about 4 stations north of where she lives.   Misha has been unable to locate her.   However, the Metro line has now been shut down and people are walking all over the place, or trying to catch buses, but the streets are jammed.   We think she's probably just trying to find some way to get home.   She does not have a cell phone.   However, the entire cell system is currently overloaded and you can't make a call anyway.   

I wanted you to know that we are all okay -- but please pray that Misha's mom (Nellie) makes her way home safely!   We will let you know.
