CIS Prayer: News from Moscow

Dear Prayer Partners,

We appreciate so much all your prayers and concerns for those of us over here in Russia right now.  We have had two more terrorist acts in the last two days. As far as we know, none of our people have been in harms way.  However, we certainly appreciate your prayers!

Please pray especially for the Work and Witness team from Eugene First Church, and for Roy and Caroline Campbell who will be leading the team.  The team will be arriving in Moscow tomorrow evening and traveling to Ulyanovsk by train.  Pray that this will be a great time of work and of ministry to the people there.  Also pray for their safety and peace in their hearts.  This part of the world can, at the best of times, be unnerving.

Please pray for Chuck as he flies to Kyiv on Saturday evening.  He will be there through next Thursday.  He then returns to Moscow on Thursday night and flies to Kazakhstan on Friday night.  Please pray that he is able to obtain his Kazakh visa while he is in Ukraine.

Please pray for Davide Cantarella.  He is currently in Italy to renew his visa.  However, the day before his departure from Russia all of his documents were stolen.  He had to get special permission to leave Russia and is now in Italy awaiting a new passport so that he can get a new visa to get back into Russia.

We appreciate your prayers so much.  We will keep you updated with happenings here.

Blessings,

Carla
