Prayer#2

Dear Prayer Partners,

We have a very serious prayer request to bring to you from Volgograd.  The
local director of religion in the Volgograd region is placing serious
pressure on Missionary Lonnie Norris.  He has threatened that if Lonnie
preaches or teaches in Volgograd he will have Lonnie thrown out of the
country.  Last weekend the Volgograd area churches were preparing for a large
Baptism celebration.  Some church members received anonymous threatening
phone calls during the night, warning them that Lonnie Norris had better not
participate.  Lonnie did not participate in the baptisms.  We need prayer
that the local authorities will follow the laws and will not place these
types of demands or this type of pressure on Lonnie Norris.
