Orphan Children |
| Society has changed a great deal in the last ten years.
As a result there are many people feeling quite hopeless, and are
searching for something to fill the void in their lives. Unfortunately,
many are turning to alcohol. Today over 50% of all adult males in the former Soviet Union are alcoholics. The result is that many children are being abandoned by their parents. The orphanages are full and have many needy children. They have need for food, clothing and even remodeling of their facilities. There are other orphanages that have enough financial support, but are craving for fellowship for the children. Through Compassionate Ministries we are trying to meet the needs of a number of orphanages throughout the area. |
